Pittsburgh TweetUps
So, you’re new to the social media scene. You’re Twittering, blogging, and doing fine. But how do you meet more people with a penchant for being social?
That’s where the Pittsburgh TweetUp group comes in. This is a free (for the moment) Ning group where all things social get posted. Whether it be organizing a Pirates game tailgate party, particular food TweetUps, art outings, and chances to jump in a river.
There’s always something going on, or throw out an event idea yourself!
Are there other local social event sites you like to use?
*Thanks to Uncle Crappy for his picture-esque recaps.
UPDATE: I was unaware of the groups move to pghtweetup.com from the outgoing Ning group. I’ve changed the links above to reflect this.

If you’re a seasoned vet of PodCamp, you probably have a good idea of what you need to bring along with you. Last year, being my first in-person attendance, I brought way too much along. Maybe this year I will learn my lesson (but if you follow my blog, you know packing a lot is [...]
